The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It does factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
